Loadpoint Bearings spindle returned for refurbishment for the first time in 23 years.

This D02052 spindle model was designed by Loadpoint Bearings Technical Director, David Gilham in 1988. This particular serial number was 1 of a batch of 3 D02052 spindles manufactured and built by Loadpoint Bearings Managing Director, Tony Snow in 1993.

The spindle has been in constant use for 1,500,000 hours and even after 23 years of service, it still looks like it just left the factory.

This is a testament to the quality workmanship of Loadpoint Bearings products and engineers; and their customer’s service plan of their air filtration, to maintain their spindles.

Air Bearings are frictionless, by maintaining a clean work area and regular service of their air supply filtration, they can last indefinitely.
